Produced Water Treatment Facilities

Produced Water Treatment Facilities

Produced water (also called brine) is a byproduct of modern oil and gas production. Naturally-occurring water that was trapped underground is brought to the surface during the production of oil and gas reservoirs. This produced water may contain various contaminants and, in most cases, needs to be heavily treated before use.

The oil and gas industry has come up with many different ways to handle the rapidly-growing excess of produced water. These methods come under strict regulations that must be followed for this water’s use or disposal. In certain situations, produced water can be recycled or returned to the reservoir, but in many cases, it must be (safely) disposed of.

Warren Valve products like our produced water treatment facilities are critical to the effective separation, movement, and storage of this produced water. We offer an industry-leading inventory of full stainless steel 316 products for just such caustic and corrosive applications.
